Today I would like to share with you my simple Floor Cleaner with Vinegar:

1/3 cup White Vinegar
1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
warm water
add a few drops of Essential oil such as Lemon or lavender.
Add the vinegar and alcohol into a spray bottle and fill it in till full with water.
The vinegar aroma will be gone after a while.
Natural Bathroom scrub
You can make your bathroom smell like orange or lemon or any of your favorite essential oils by simply adding a few drops to your natural bathroom scrub.
I use this combination to scrub my tub, shower and sink and even the shower floor:
Ingredients:
1 packet of Baking Soda
1 to 2 Tbsp Soap (Castile soap )
2 tsp of Lemongrass Essential Oil (
Remember to use gloves when dealing with lemongrass essential oil as it may cause some skin reactions.
Stir all the ingredients with a fork and put it in a glass bottle or jar. Simply splash with warm water before you spread the scrub powder and leave it for 10 minutes before scrubbing the surfaces to be cleaned.
DIY Hand sanitizer
Specially now that everywhere I look I can not find hand sanitizers on the shelf as they are going off.
Simply let’s make our own by using two ingredients:
Alcohol/ or any desinfectant spirit you have at home
10- 15 drops of On Guard Essential Oil
Put it in a small glass bottle, easier for you to carry it on your handbag everywther you go.
Of course we then need to apply a small amount of Aloe Vera to make it less drying for your skin. So it would be useful to also carry a small bottle with Aloe Vera gel to apply as needed to soften and prevent our skin to dry.
Remember always to use gloves when you are cleaning and using Essential Oils as some sensitivities can occur.
My mantra is to choose to be safe and healthy at home in our daily lifes .
Small changes bring big improvements.
Love,
Maite
